If you’ve been on Instagram recently, you’ve probably seen these adorable Alexander Henry fabrics that everyone has been going crazy over. The prints are perfect for fussy cutting and I decided to make some Christmas ornaments for a recent swap.

These could have been done with mini embroidery hoops, but I had about 1,000 small mason jar lids lying around and decided to use these instead.

I just traced around the part of the print I wanted with the outside part of the ring (making it a bit larger all around), layered it with two pieces of batting, put a line of hot glue around the back, and glued the lid in to secure it all.

I added a piece of felt behind the lid and sandwiched a piece of baker’s twine between the felt and the lid to use for the hanger.

I could make a TON of these from one 1/2 yard of fabric and a box of lids because there are so many cute little details!

Head on over to the Pink Door shop if you are interested in picking up some of this adorable fabric! Happy crafting!
